1. Caledonian MacBrayne

In 2005 Caledonian MacBrayne approached CGL and requested a tender for refurbishment of their new ferry terminal. The terminal is modern and stylish with huge expanses of glass enabling passengers to overlook the scenic Oban Bay. The refurbishment therefore needed to be in keeping with the general ambience.

CGL won the tender due to:

• A competitive price
• The ability to deliver locally
• Space planning
• Quality of products

All the rooms in the terminal were completely refitted including the reception area, the manager's office and the canteen. Products used included chairs, plants, lockers and low cupboards.

2. Real Food Cafe (Signage)

The Real Food Cafe in Tyndrum started life as a Little Chef. As the existing lightboxes and monolith were still useable the most cost effective solution was to replace the signs with new ones.

The existing monolith signs were removed leaving 2 posts. The signs were replaced with 3 standard design rectangular lightboxes overlaid with translucent vinyl using the Real Food Cafe colours of blue and green.

The acrylic panels on the 2 fascia lightboxes were able to be replaced. Vinyls were cut and adhered onto the acrylic.

CGL also provided menu boards, a notice board and information panels using vinyls and digital prints.
