CGL Clunie Group Ltd - Announcement of the opening of its new Helensburgh showroom store in November 2005

A growing West Coast company is hoping to prove that you don't have to be in Glasgow or Edinburgh to be a success - it can be done right here in Argyll.

CGL Clunie Group Ltd, the leading, local provider of printing and office supplies, will open its third and latest Showroom Store in Helensburgh on Monday 7 November. Managing Director, Phil Brien, explains that this is all part of the strategy to provide the highest levels of customer service to all sectors of the business community in the West Highlands and Islands. "Whilst we are well positioned with our Oban and Fort William Showroom Stores to serve much of the region, we felt there was a clear gap to fill with the support to the commercial community in the South East of Argyll, in and around Helensburgh and Lomond"

The move into Helensburgh will create initially two new customer service roles to be carried out by locals, Ann Stewart and one other. The team will be headed up by Brian McMillan, an Oban man who has risen through the ranks to take responsibility for all three CGL Showroom Stores to ensure a consistent and progressive approach to customer service at all locations.

The expansion into Helensburgh comes on the back of an exciting year for CGL during which it has invested significantly in its Design & Print operation in Oban. Next year will see the Company celebrating its 21st anniversary - watch out for more news on this in due course!
